Overview

PlanBridge lets you open your plans, measure off them, mark them up, and keep a record of your work. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

You provide

• No account needed — the app does not require an account and we do not collect your email, name, or a password.
• Profile and onboarding — your role or trade, whether you work commercial or residential, and your general region (which you type in; we do not use your device's GPS). We use this to set up and personalize the app. At launch this stays on your device.
• Your content — the plan files (PDFs), photos, notes, measurements, and markups you add. This is yours.
• Support messages — anything you send us for help.

Collected automatically

• Purchase info — records of your one-time in-app purchase. Payment card details are handled by Apple or Google. We never receive or store your full card number.
• Device and diagnostic data — at launch the app includes no analytics or crash-reporting tools, so we do not collect usage analytics or crash logs. If we add any in the future, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy labels first.

How we use it

• Provide and operate the app (open plans, measure, mark up, save your record).
• Keep your content on your device. Cloud sync and backup are planned for a later version; when added, this policy will be updated.
• Process purchases and manage subscriptions.
• Provide support and respond to you.
• Maintain security and improve the app.

We do not use your data for third-party ad targeting, and the launch app contains no third-party advertising or analytics tools. If trade-targeted ads or analytics are ever added, this policy and the Apple "App Privacy" labels will be updated, and an App Tracking Transparency prompt added.

Automated text recognition (OCR / AI)

PlanBridge uses on-device optical character recognition (OCR) and automated text-recognition technology to read text on the plans you open — for example, detecting sheet names, titles, and scale notations so the app can label and set up your plans for you. This processing happens on your device; your plans are not sent to us or to any third-party AI service for this feature. Recognition is automated and can be wrong — always verify detected scales and labels (see the Terms of Service on measurements).

How your content is stored

Your plans, photos, notes, and markups are stored on your device at launch. We apply reasonable security measures, but no method of storage is 100% secure.

Our website

Our website, getplanbridge.com, uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms. When you visit, it tells Meta that your browser viewed our pages and records actions such as clicking a link to the App Store or Google Play. Meta may connect that visit to your Facebook or Instagram account through cookies on your device. We use this to measure our advertising and to reach people who have shown interest in PlanBridge. Under some state laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, this kind of advertising measurement may be considered "sharing" personal information.

Your choices: you can limit how Meta uses this data in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, block the pixel with common browser privacy tools, or email us at support@gravity-hero.com to ask about opting out. This applies to the website only. The PlanBridge app itself contains no advertising or analytics tools.

Who we share it with

We share limited data only with service providers that run the app for us:

• Google Firebase — account sign-in (email and password). Your account email is stored with Firebase.
• Apple and Google — in-app purchases (when in-app purchases are enabled).
• RevenueCat and our payment processor — purchase and subscription management, active once paid features launch.
• Legal requests, or to protect rights and safety, when required by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices and rights

• Access, correct, or delete your account and content, in-app or by contacting us.
• Cancel subscriptions in your Apple or Google account settings.
• Depending on where you live (for example, California, EU, UK), you may have additional rights to access, delete, or restrict use of your data. Contact us to exercise them.

Children

PlanBridge is a tool for work and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new effective date here and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
