Terms of Service

Effective July 3, 2026 · These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Gravity Hero LLC ("we," "us") for the PlanBridge app. By creating an account or using PlanBridge, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use PlanBridge for your own work, business or personal, subject to these Terms and the app store's rules.

2. Purchases, subscriptions, and trials

• PlanBridge may offer one-time purchases and auto-renewing subscriptions, which may include a free trial.
• Purchases are billed through your Apple or Google account. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Cancel anytime in your app store account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Where you buy directly from us through a web checkout, our posted refund terms apply.

3. Your content

You own the plans, photos, notes, measurements, and markups you put into PlanBridge. You grant us only the limited license needed to store, display, and process that content to operate the app for you. You are responsible for having the right to use any plans you upload.

4. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect users to do the same. Construction plans, architectural drawings, and similar documents are frequently protected by copyright; upload only content you own or are authorized to use.

If you believe content stored or shared through PlanBridge infringes your copyright, send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) to our designated agent at dmca@gravity-hero.com (Gravity Hero LLC, 4284 Platt Springs Road, West Columbia, SC 29170). Your notice must include: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the allegedly infringing material and where it is located; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and (f) your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid notice we will remove or disable access to the identified material and, where appropriate, notify the user who provided it. Users may submit a counter-notification under § 512(g). We may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

5. Measurements — read this

• You are responsible for setting the correct scale and for verifying every measurement before relying on it.
• Drawings can be mis-scaled, distorted, out of date, or drawn not-to-scale; results reflect the file and scale you give the app.
• Do not rely on PlanBridge as the sole basis for any work, order, cut, bid, or decision where precision is legally required (including engineering, structural, code-compliance, or safety determinations). Confirm critical dimensions by independent means.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app: no illegal use, no reverse engineering except as permitted by law, no interfering with the service, no uploading content you don't have rights to.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

PlanBridge is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any measurement is accurate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gravity Hero LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost work, rework, materials, or losses arising from reliance on a measurement or markup. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for PlanBridge in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to hold Gravity Hero LLC harmless from claims arising out of your use of the app, your content, or your reliance on measurements, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app anytime.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

11a. Dispute resolution — binding arbitration and class-action waiver

Any dispute arising out of these Terms or PlanBridge that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. You and Gravity Hero LLC each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court. You may opt out of this arbitration provision within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing support@gravity-hero.com with the subject "Arbitration opt-out."

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, where required, presented for your agreement.
